June 10, 2013 Working Hard & Working Out

Dear Family,
Elder Pinegar & Elder Wait

This week has been a great week.  I really enjoyed last p-day. Brother  Saben  took me and my comp up to the top of this mountain, (hill) and it was nice to be on a place with a view again.  I kinda miss the cool summer nights looking over the Utah Valley from a spot on the mountain and seeing all of the lights...kinda trunky right there.

Anyways, this is Elder Wait's last week as a missionary (the sum of all fears). Sad to see him go home. We taught a boy named Gabriel, and he wants to be baptized. He is on date for June 29th. Side story: Elder Wait told me that he thought that the 29th was a good date. I was like, I don't know and thought about it and then it felt right.  We had a lesson with Gabriel in the Witter's home, and it was great.  We were about to put him on date, and we explained how we came to the agreement of the date. Then he told us that the 29th was his birthday, and he wanted to do it that day!!! It was great.  I'm excited to see God work in his life to make it better

The next day, I brought Isaias to a lesson at the Glacie's home.... yeah we got halfway through the lesson, and we had a second appointment to get to... I ended up leaving him at the member's home.... it went well.  The member actually felt honored that we felt like he could handle it and told Isaias that he was welcome back over to learn more about God, and that he should hear out the rest of the missionary lessons.  Great member, reminded me of Fred Smith, so I knew that he could be ready for anything, if he reminded me of the great Fred.

Well p-day was great. We did this thing called the rom, and I almost died. It works you so hard in 8 minutes. It is = to a 45 minute jog. (supposedly ) I think I did just fine.

I was able to go on exchanges this past Saturday with Elder Taylor, my old comp. I love that man.

I'm sorry I don't have more. I have a big day ahead of me. Forgive me for my weakness.
I know that if you dig deep, you can forgive, even as you wish to be forgiven,
