Dear Family,
I have had a great week. Elder Taylor and I have been great on our diet and been working hard to find people as well as do our corpses justice. I really enjoyed my birthday. I had a great break from my diet.
I am learning what the YES culture means to the Hispanic culture. It has driven me nuts. Again 0 in church.... kill me. I cannot baptize this transfer now... sad. I even had 5 people tell me 1 hour before church that they would see me there.... yeah. We are teaching great. I just feel like Dad when I would lie to him. Just knowing that the person is full of it.
Me and Elder Taylor get along quite well. We are able to work out our differences well and make our companionship progress in the days that we feel uncomfortable. My Spanish is coming along quite well. I know I need to work on it. I wear a different tie every so often. Time flies, and I don't know where it goes.. it drives me nuts. I can't believe how fast the weeks are going 6 months in 3 more weeks holy cow! This work is different from full time. You can put on a face for your job, but for the Lord, He sees the heart. I know that my job helped me become a better missionar. It's a bit hard having some be childish around me, but I try to fit in, and I do a great good most of the time but sometimes it beats me out.
You need to go with granny to her date. She is older--don't let her get stolen from or stolen in general.*
Love you all.
Your son,
Elder Pinegar
*Nick's Granny has a nice lunch date planned this week. It's nice to see Nick cares so much about his Granny.
